Movie Poster Commissions!!!

Okay, so almost a year ago I started this group alongside the help of the other admin, all with the idea of bringing filmmakers together with needed illustrators, costumers, photographers etc, all the while it's focus of the main hobby is built into "Movie Poster Making"... So, after a full year of playing "Admin" in this group and everyone enjoying contests, and christmas collaborations (Which it's about that time of year again... ) I've finally finished a collaboration with three other artists from D-art with one of my films "Teller Of Tales: A Fib Fit For A King"

Okay. Now. It's taken me, alongside the aide of 3 others in a 19 months span, to fully develop this film.

2 months writing the script. 6 more months doing shot breakdowns for the storyboard artist ~anakalivas Anastasia Kalivas, which took her a total of 11 months to illustrate 40 scenes. 1 month for ~DarkoJuan Juan Casco to fully develop an original font and 1 month of *Elengwat to fully develop a movie poster with all the past development movie script and illustrations of past character concepts. Yeah, 1 full year and a half!!!

I MEAN TO ME IT'S ALL PRETTY EPIC! And now my film is fully developed and we will start shooting next fall with a premiere coming out March 31, 2013 Easter Sunday!

And after all that being said? This is my example of where this group can go! So, now I'm going to make One Folder called, "Movie Poster Commissions" And I'm going to be extremely "Anal" about allowing the proper works of art into this folder, because it will only be filled with artists Movie Posters that have been commissioned into a "REAL FILM". Or will be made into a "REAL FILM". However, to be accepted into this folder your poster must hold all descriptions, credits, and not break ANY copyright issues. The folder will host -Every Genre and Every Grade... I.E. (Short-Independent-Documentary-Feature... etc. of Movie Poster. IT MUST "NOT" BE SOLELY YOUR POSTER YOU DID FOR YOUR FILM!

It must be a "Commissioned Movie Poster Of An Original Film Made From A Collaborate Effort." Just like the example of the film above. (Period) I'm not bending!!!


I hope that this provides a better outlet for those artists, who want to commission and be commissioned!
