In The "REE(A)L MOVIE POSTER CONTEST I" you must make a fully developed movie poster by following these rules!


1.) Size of poster must be of the highest quality and be able to have high quality resolution for a 24 x 36 frame.

2.) Movie Poster must be of the proper format! (Exclude Steel Tongs Font of Credits at the bottom of poster: Will add to the three winners poster!

3.) Must have title of the movie, "Her Flaming Youth"! (Any and All fonts are welcome, but remember what type of film this is... :wink: ) must be on the poster.

4.) Movie Posters can be made by: Photo-manipulation, drawing, painting, traditional art, etc...

5.) You May Submit As Many Deviation Movie Posters As You Like!

As our first contest the film is called "Her Flaming Youth" A Film Noir crime/thriller/gangster feature film, written and directed by Woody Lindsey. You can interoperate the script and your ideas of the movie poster by following this link:

After you download the script and find the most significant scene from this page and or check out the photos or the synopsis you may start developing the movie poster! I look forward to seeing what you everyone can come up with once the contest has began. You can submit into the "REE(A)L Movie Poster Collection I" Gallery Folder on the groups page of Movie Posters R' Us. From photography to photomanipulations to digital art and drawings apart from literature. All ways of making the poster are accepted!

How the winner will be decided:
If you wish to enter the contest submit you deviation into the The "REE(A)L MOVIE POSTER CONTEST I" Gallery Folder (yes it must go into the contest folder otherwise it won't be accepted) where us stalkers will vote to decide whether it is up to the gallery standards like all other deviations.

Submissions will be open for 5 MONTHS starting from October 1st, 2010 till March 1st, 2011.

After submissions are closed 5 judges from the Movie-Posters-R-Us biggest fans will rank their top 10 submissions. March 07, 2011

These top 5 will go into a poll where members of the group (Become a member of this group to enter contest) "Movie-Posters-R-Us" can vote for which you think deserves to win our first ever contest! Winner will be picked on June 15, 2011!

3rd place 500 Donated Points
Your poster will be used as Lobby/Promotion Cards for the feature film, "Her Flaming Youth"!
Accredited as Movie Poster Maker in the Films Credits! (How cool is that?!?)

If anyone else would like to donate prizes to this inaugural Movie-Posters-R-Us contest you are more than welcome to, just send a note to me saying what you would like to donate and I'll add it to the list. Donations can be:
1, 3, 12 month subscriptions or...

Prints...
Print subscription...

For the small matter of the Fine Print (of which there aren't many):
No reason will be given if the submission is declined by Movie-Posters-R-Us.
Unfortunately any form of literature will not be accepted as a submission (poetry, prose etc.)
